This subset of the activity of Multinationals in Manufacturing dataset focuses on the inward activity by industrial sector. Varaiables such as value added, turnover, intra-firm exports, stock of FDI, gross operating surplus and such are compared by industrial sector (chemical products, food, textiles). This table contains figures on the activity of affiliates under foreign control and all firms by industry according to the International Standard Industrial Classification (ISIC Revision 4). Data are presented from 2008 onwards.

This table contains figures on affiliates under foreign control by investing country in the total manufacturing, total services and total business enterprise sectors according to the International Standard Industrial Classification (ISIC Revision 4). Data are availabe from 2008 on.

This dataset comprises statistics on the outward activity of multinationals in manufacturing by country of location where total manufacturing contains figures on the activity of affiliates located abroad by host country in the total manufacturing sector or in the total business sector. This comparative table includes statistics on trade (import and export values) with a focus on commodity groups according to the economic sector in International Standard Industrial Classification (ISIC). Commodity group include categories such as agriculture, forestry and fishery products, transport equipment, food, beverages, tobacco which are presented by ISIC sector (industry sectors, agriculture and hunting, wholesale, manufacturing, real estate, financial intermediation). Data are presented from 2005 onwards.

This dataset presents data by export intensity: that is the share of exports on total turnover.

This dataset includes import and export values by number of enterprises and trade value according to the partner countries class and the economic sector in International Standard Industrial Classification (ISIC). Economic sector comprise industry sectors, trade and repair, and other sectors. Data are presented from 2005 onwards.

This dataset presents data by type of ownership, that is foreign or domestically controlled enterprise (with or without own affiliates abroad).

The central issue of trade by enterprise characteristics is to disaggregate trade flows according the characteristics of the enterprises engaged in cross-border transactions. The feasibility of doing so largely depends on the possibility of using or developing common identifiers between the trade register and the business register. Countries differ in their ability to perform such a linking, and matching ratios (between business and trade registers) vary across countries, and as a consequence the degree of representativeness of the results also varies across countries.

This dataset includes import and export statistics on trade classes in terms of size comprising indicators by number of trading enterprises and trade value, sector according to the economic sector in International Standard Industrial Classification (ISIC).Partner zones both include Extra and Intra EU Trade.Data are presented by size class(0-9, 10-49,50-249,250+) with respect to ISIC sectors (mining and quarrying, financial intermediation, real estate, manufacturing of textiles) by reporter country, partner zone, indicator and flow. Data are available from 2003 onwards.

This dataset includes import and export values by concentration of trade value (most important traders) and top enterprises according to the economic sector in International Standard Industrial Classification (ISIC). The table comprises statistics on reporter countries subdivided by ranges of top enterprises with respect to their partner zones. Data are available from 2003 onwards and presented on annual datapoints

This dataset shows imports/exports by type of trader: that is exporter only, importer only or both importer and exporter (Two-way trader).
